Peep into the history of the city by visiting the very majestic Chowmahalla Palace raised between the years 1857 and 1869. It was once the residence of the Nizams of Hyderabad. Today it lures visitors with its splendid architecture which includes intricate artwork of domes, arches, windows and carefully carved out designs. Some of the best explore areas of the Palace are Khilwat Mubarak, Bara Imam, Afzal Mahal, Mahtab Mahal and Tahniyat Mahal.

Apart from these, the Hussain Sagar Lake of Hyderabad is known for being one of the largest man-made lakes and is popular for its monolith of Lord Buddha.
