Karnataka

Fusing together cultures, traditions, history, flavours and religion – Karnataka has something for everyone. This south western state is a pleasurable retreat where numerous cultures melt together as one. Numerous natives including Kannadigas, Kodavas, Tuluvas and Konkanis can be found here. Most of the locals can be seen speaking Kannada. The state is rich in dance, drama, theatre, crafts, art, poetry and architecture. It still holds its past close to its heart which can be seen in various heritage sites sprinkled here.

Hampi village is one of the most popular sites in Karnataka known for attractions like Bukka’s Aqueduct, Elephant Stable, Talarigatta Gate and Hampi. Architecture lovers also have a whale of a time exploring Pattadakal Group of monuments at Pattadakal. The Bidar Fort City in Bidar is another wonder having architectural, historical as well as religious significance.

Wild facets of Karnataka are beautiful. Anshi National Park here is home to over 197 species of birds.
