The Monkey Temple is another popular lure here that has a close association with the legend of Ramayana. The Vijaya Vittala Temple here is also appreciated for its fabulous architecture, a huge stone chariot and fascinating musical pillars.

Apart from these, the Virupaksha Temple of Hampi is visited by the worshipers of Lord Virupaksha, a form of Shiva. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is here since 7th century. Also, do not miss a ride to the riverside gorge located to the North of the Kodandarama Temple. These clusters of ruins include numerous pavilions, tiny shrines and motifs.
