Another architectural marvel of the town is the Padmanabhapuram Palace which was home to the Travancore Rulers in the past. Kanyakumari’s Thiruvalluvar Statue never fails to catch the attention of travellers due to its grand appeal. This is the biggest statue in Asia with a height of 133 feet. It is dedicated to the Saint Poet Thiruvalluvar who is one of the greatest Tamil poets in India.
